"I am incredibly grateful for the financial grant I received. It has made a significant difference in my life, providing me with the support I needed to pursue my goals after service. This assistance not only eased my financial burden but also gave me hope for a brighter future. Thank you for believing in like me."

I'm a veteran and long-haul truck driver. While transporting loads from California to Las Vegas, I found myself without food or money. I still had deliveries to complete before picking up my next load and driving home to Virginia, and I couldn’t take my semi-truck off route or fit it into a food bank parking lot.

I reached out to nearly every organization I could think of, but no one could offer a solution beyond telling me to visit a food bank. With a full-size semi-truck and a strict route, that simply wasn’t possible.

About an hour and a half before reaching Reno, I called Veterans Alliance USA and explained my situation. Even with almost no notice, Canyon immediately went to the store, bought enough food to last until my next paycheck, and met me at the location where I was delivering my load. He also provided financial assistance so I could purchase anything else I needed or send money home to my family.

That help meant more to me than I can put into words. I was even able to share some of the food with another veteran who was struggling, so Veterans Alliance USA didn’t only help one veteran that day; they helped two.

I continue to check in with Canyon and let him know how I’m doing. I will always be grateful that when I had nowhere else to turn, Veterans Alliance USA listened to what I actually needed and showed up for me.”

“While traveling from the East Coast to Alaska, my car broke down in Reno. I contacted every veterans organization I could find, including the VA, but no one was able to help. The VA eventually gave me the number for Veterans Alliance USA.

I was in a desperate situation, I needed to reach Washington in time to catch my ferry to Nome, Alaska, and I only needed temporary help until my benefits arrived on the first of the month. Veterans Alliance USA listened to my situation and provided me with an emergency grant to get my car back on the road.

Because of their help, I was able to continue my journey and avoid missing my ferry. When no one else could help me, Veterans Alliance USA stepped up. I’m incredibly grateful that they were there when I needed them most.”

"My name is Tim Ranneth, and I want to share what Veterans Alliance USA did for me during one of the most serious situations I’ve faced.

I have been dealing with a medical issue that requires treatment, and I was told I couldn’t begin that treatment until I was able to pay the required down payment.

This wasn’t something I could just put off. Without getting the treatment I need, my life was at risk. I knew I needed help, but I didn’t have the money available to cover the down payment on my own.

Veterans Alliance USA stepped in when I needed it most and provided me with $1,000 toward my down payment, helping me move forward with getting the treatment I need.

It’s hard to explain what it means to have someone step up for you when you’re dealing with something this serious. Having that financial burden lifted gave me the opportunity to focus on my health and getting the care I need instead of wondering how I was going to come up with the money.

I’m incredibly grateful to Veterans Alliance USA and everyone who supports their organization. The donations and support they receive really do go toward helping veterans facing difficult situations.

Thank you to Veterans Alliance USA for being there for me when I needed help. What you did for me is something I won’t forget."
